When we prepare Kitfo, first we warm up our pan on the Stove top, then we mix all the spices and the butter together, except the Chili Powder (Ethiopian Mitmita). Then we will remove it from the Stove Top and add the Chili Powder, then we will add our chopped lean meat (Kitfo) and mix it with the mixed buter and spices. And put the Stove top heat low to medium and return the mix the chopped meat (Kitfo) back to the Stove top, and mix it very well with the butter. You can warm the Kitfo without cooking it all the way or you can make it mediem rare as you prefer. Enjoy!
